I’m Conny van Gaans, a textile artist based in The Netherlands.

I create handmade wool dog sculptures and original knitting patterns inspired by the character and simplicity of dogs.

I started out painting dog portraits, but gradually found my way to working with wool. The softness of the material and the slow process of knitting suit me better.

Each piece is carefully shaped by hand and created in my own studio in The Netherlands.
